Making a difference by supporting the PCS Legacy Fund
Purpose and Philosophy
Our goal is to have a sustainable scholarship fund that is vision focused and structured to allow more families to attend Pacific Christian School. Allowing PCS families and community supporters to invest in the next generation will help shape their futures.
Why It Matters
We greatly value and highly honor the generosity of our church and school families. We wish to empower this generation to directly invest in the spiritual and academic formation of the next generation.
Benefits
Each year we select a small number of our graduates to receive the Legacy Scholarship Award. It is our attempt to 'pay it forward' by investing a small amount of money toward their futures. These cash awards are unrestricted for parents and students to decide together how best to use the scholarship money.
At the same time, we ask those families who have benefited from our school to give towards the Legacy Scholarship Fund so that others who love PCS and desire a high-quality, Christian-based education for their child might be able to afford it with a bit of help through our Legacy tuition assistance (scholarship) program.

Structure of the Scholarship Program
Pacific Christian Center will give a budgeted monthly sum to the Legacy Scholarship program. Annually at our PCS Teacher dedication service an offering opportunity will be given to our Pacific Christian Center congregation. PCS families will also be given an opportunity to give monthly to our Legacy Scholarship Fund.
Who Is Eligible
Each year during the month of April families may apply for tuition assistance through three Legacy Scholarship Programs:
1) The Jacob Knight Scholarship established in memory of Jacob Knight.
2) The Robert Palmer Scholarship established in memory of Pastor Robert Palmer.
3) The Legacy Scholarship established for current and alumni families to assist the next generation of PCS students.

Annual Legacy Dinner
Each May before graduation, PCS will celebrate its eighth-grade graduates with an Annual Legacy Dinner. Students will be honored for their achievements in multiple areas, including but not limited to: Presidential Awards of Excellence and Achievement, Principal's List, Christian Service, Achievement in the Performing Arts, Athletics, Christian Character, Legacy Students, etc. A small number of students will receive a small unrestricted financial 'Scholarship' to use with parent guidance to support future expenses associated with high school or college expenses.
Also, parents will have the opportunity to financially support the Legacy Scholarship Fund at the annual awards dinner. This is a free-will offering to benefit younger PCS students. It can be a one-time financial gift or monthly options of any amount. We will recognize donors at various levels presented below:
