Parent Teacher Fellowship - PTF

The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) at Pacific Christian School is an active part of our school community. It provides an opportunity for every parent to be involved in shaping the culture here on campus. Our Student Life Advisor, Ms. Elisa Borjas, is the facilitator of this organization. One of the reasons students are thriving at PCS is because of parent involvement and engagement. They know their family and teachers love them and work together for their good.

Here are some examples:
  • Parents and teachers form prayer groups that meet regularly and seek the Lord's blessing upon our school and provide prayer support to families going through life's challenges.
  • Volunteer in the classroom and on campus. Students love seeing their parents and/or other family members (Grandparents) at school and on field trips.
  • Raise support for the school by overseeing minor fundraisers approved by Ms. Borjas like Valentine's Day grams, Red Ribbon week, St. Patrick's Day, Read across America, Teacher Appreciation Week and more.
  • PTF provides support for extra teacher/classroom expenses.
  • Helps keep parents informed through regular communication.
  • Organizes parent volunteers for the classroom or other areas of need.
  • Is a vital source of encouragement for office staff and teacher aides.
