About Teacher Induction
- SCOE Teacher Induction Program - Teachers working at Pacific Christian School are able to complete this two year, state-accredited program through SCOE TI [Sacramento County Office of Education – Teacher Induction]. We offer teachers who hold a Preliminary Multiple Subject, Preliminary Single Subject, or Preliminary Education Specialist Credentials the opportunity to fulfill the requirements for the California Clear Credential. SCOE TI is a state-accredited induction program intended to accelerate teacher effectiveness and enhance teacher retention. It is a job embedded program focused on mentoring and support which may begin in the first year of teaching.
ACSI Teaching Certification – Education is a process. Just as we encourage our students to grow and become life–long learners, we want to set the same example as their teachers and leaders. ACSI certification establishes a framework for professional growth to occur over time, just like continuous school improvement. The ACSI Teacher Certification process provides professional credentials for Christian school educators at all levels and in all disciplines. Establishing and maintaining the certification of staff and administration is an essential step toward professional credibility and growth.
All full time teachers and administrators hold current and valid credentials through ACSI and/or the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing [CTC].
